NDIS Eligibility
You may be eligible for the NDIS if you meet the following general criteria. This is a summary only — the NDIA makes the final decision on eligibility.
Age
You are under 65 years old when you apply.
Residency
You are an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or hold a Protected Special Category Visa, and you live in Australia.
Disability Requirements
You have a permanent and significant disability that substantially affects your ability to take part in everyday activities.
Early Intervention Requirements
Alternatively, you may qualify if early intervention supports would reduce the impact of your disability on your daily life, now or in the future.
