How to refer an NDIS participant to Valencea

This page is written for Support Coordinators, Local Area Coordinators and allied health professionals who are considering Valencea for a participant they work with — not for participants referring themselves. If that's you, use Request Support instead.

Valencea delivers person-centred NDIS support across daily living, community participation, transport, domestic assistance and related supports — the full current list is on our Services page. If a participant's needs fall outside what we currently offer, we'll say so directly rather than take on a referral we can't properly support.

The referral form separates your details as the referrer (name, organisation, role, contact details) from the participant's details (name, NDIS number if available, suburb, preferred contact method, the specific support being requested, and any notes that help us prepare — preferred days/times, language or communication needs, anything we should know before first contact).

The participant's NDIS number is optional at this stage — we can proceed with an initial conversation without it and confirm plan details together once contact is made.

Our team reviews every referral and aims to get back to you within one business day, consistent with our general response commitment across all enquiry channels. We'll confirm whether we can support the participant's specific needs, ask any follow-up questions we need, and arrange a first contact with the participant or their family directly.

You'll stay informed throughout — we treat the referring Support Coordinator as an ongoing point of contact, not a one-off handoff.
