Signs it might be time to change your NDIS provider
Communication has become one-directional
If you find yourself chasing your provider for updates rather than hearing from them, or messages go unanswered for days, that's worth paying attention to — good support depends on communication that flows both ways.

Support isn't matched to your actual goals anymore
Needs and goals change over time. If your current supports still look exactly like they did a year ago despite your circumstances changing, it may mean your provider hasn't kept pace with you.
Scheduling keeps falling through
Occasional disruption happens everywhere, but a pattern of cancelled or rescheduled sessions with no real backup plan is a genuine sign of capacity strain on their end, not bad luck.
You're not sure who to ask
If a question comes up and you genuinely don't know who to contact — or you contact someone and get passed around — that's a structural gap, not a one-off.
It's okay to switch
None of this means anyone did something wrong. Needs change, providers grow or shrink, and fit that worked once doesn't always keep working. Changing providers is a normal, supported process — not a last resort.
